By installing Gravity Index, creating an account, connecting a project, or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and the Software License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use Gravity Index.
Gravity Index is a local-first desktop workspace for working with AI providers, project memory, files, plans, and tools. Your project memory and work stay in storage you control, such as your computer or private VPS. Gravity Index does not operate a project-data database that holds a copy of that workspace content.
Gravity Index is not an offline-only product. Sign-in, license checks, payment, updates, and security may use Gravity Index services. When you ask an AI provider to work, GI sends the provider you selected the request and relevant context needed for that work. That provider's terms and data practices apply.
The Desktop app may connect to local folders when you authorize it. Connecting a folder does not mean your entire computer is uploaded or made available. GI works within the projects, folders, and permissions you select.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials, provider connections, local project permissions, and devices secure. You must be 18 or older to use the service. Do not create multiple accounts to evade limits, safety controls, trials, or billing rules.
You own the conversations, notes, sources, files, code, task records, project memory, and other materials you create or import. You grant Gravity Index a limited right to process, transmit, transform, index, and display that content only as needed to perform the actions you request, secure the service, or provide support you ask for.
Private project content at rest is not browsable by Gravity Index because Gravity Index does not keep a server-side copy of your project store. Human-visible content is limited to material you explicitly share with us, request-level material needed for support you request, security or abuse investigations, reliability debugging, or legal obligations. Operational investigations rely on metadata and logs wherever possible rather than stored project content.
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to upload or process content through Gravity Index. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to material generated for others. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.
Gravity Index software is licensed to you, not sold. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run it on devices you own or control for your personal use or your own internal business work. Gravity Index and its licensors keep every other right.
Parts of the app are installed in human-readable form because the runtime needs them that way. Being able to read a file is not a license to use it. Except where applicable law says otherwise, you may not copy, publish, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lend, or sell the software or its source code; modify it or create derivative works from it; reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or defeat a technical measure that protects it; use it to develop, train, or operate a product or service that competes with Gravity Index; or remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or license notice.
The full Software License Agreement is shown during installation and forms part of these terms. It covers the software only: it gives Gravity Index no rights in your content, which stays yours on the terms above, and third-party open-source components stay under their own licenses.
You may not use Gravity Index to break the law, harm others, violate intellectual property rights, abuse or overload the platform, bypass security or access controls, extract secrets, attack other systems, or violate applicable AI provider usage policies. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create security, legal, operational, or abuse risk.
Gravity Index lets you connect supported AI provider subscriptions. Each provider connection remains separate. Gravity Index does not adopt the login, model access, or credentials of another app or command-line tool. Provider subscription fees, limits, availability, retention, and usage policies are separate from the Gravity Index subscription and remain between you and that provider.
The beta includes a 14-day full trial. No payment card is required. The trial ends without a charge and does not automatically become a paid subscription. Trial access is personal to the account and may be limited to prevent abuse.
After the trial, you may choose whether to subscribe. The price and next charge date are shown before you confirm payment. A paid subscription renews monthly until cancelled. Paddle or another named payment provider may handle checkout, tax, receipts, and the billing portal; its buyer terms may also apply.
Cancel anytime from Settings or the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and the subscription will not renew. Your local project data stays where you put it and is not deleted when a trial or subscription ends. Gravity Index is currently a beta product. Beta features may be experimental, incomplete, unstable, interrupted, changed, or removed, and may produce unexpected, inaccurate, incomplete, or failed results. To the fullest extent allowed by law, you use the beta service and any results at your own discretion, and Gravity Index is not responsible for decisions, work product, losses, or outcomes based on beta functionality or AI-generated results.
The platform is provided as-is. We make reasonable efforts to keep Gravity Index available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, models, integrations, limits, or infrastructure as the product evolves.
You can delete your account from Settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk, or require emergency action. Ending an account or subscription does not transfer ownership of or automatically delete project data stored on your computer or private VPS. Account, billing, security, and support records are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Gravity Index is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or reliance on AI output. Our total liability is limited to amounts you paid to Gravity Index in the three months before the claim.
We may update these terms as the product, infrastructure, laws, or providers change. We will post the effective date and give reasonable notice of material changes. If you do not accept an updated term, you may stop using the service and cancel before the next renewal.
Gravity Index is operated independently. These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, subject to any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
